Special Event Insurance (A.K.A. General Liability)
For our customers wanting to get coverage for their one time event.

 

Unfortunately there’s always a chance someone can get hurt anywhere you go. And, the more people you get together the higher the probability someone may either get hurt or break something. Consequently, it's important to protect yourself in the event that something happens at your event with Special Event Insurance.

 

To get the insurance you will need to choose an insurer and complete an application. They will want to know the type of event, how many people will be attending, and types of activities. The cost for this insurance is usually around $170 to $500.

 

Get your coverage at least a week before your event if you can. Some insurance companies write you a plan within an hour but don't count on that, get coverage as soon as possible. After you acquire coverage you should receive a liability certificate with our venue name on it. We will need a copy of this certificate of liability for our records.
